  • Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes a state of focused relaxation and heightened awareness to promote positive changes in thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. During a hypnotherapy session, the therapist guides the individual into a trance-like state where they are deeply relaxed. In this state, individuals can explore subconscious thoughts, address underlying issues, and work towards personal growth, healing, and self-improvement. Hypnotherapy is often used to treat a range of concerns, including anxiety, phobias, trauma, and habits, by tapping into the power of the mind to facilitate positive transformation.

  • I offer telehealth and in-person individual therapy and hypnotherapy. In my work, I strive to be anti-racist and identity affirming. I see you as the expert on your experience and hope to help you learn more about yourself and grow. I have an eclectic approach, drawing from many theories and therapeutic approaches.   • I am able to work with anyone who resides in the state of Colorado. I have limited in-person slots in Boulder, CO.

  • I generally work with individuals ages 12 and up.

  • You can book a free 20 min consult with me. To find my contact information, click here. If we decide to work together, you will have access to a secure online client portal where you can book further sessions, see your notes, send secure messages, and much more.

  • During a consultation, we have the chance to get acquainted and share more about ourselves. I'll ask you some questions to understand your needs better, and I'm here to address any questions you might have too. By the end of our discussion, we should have a clearer sense of our compatibility.

    If we find that we're aligned, that's wonderful! We can proceed with planning our first session. I'll provide you with all the necessary information to prepare, and you're encouraged to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

    However, if it turns out that we're not the right fit, that's completely okay. It's essential to me that you find the therapist who's the best match for you, even if it means exploring other options. I'm more than happy to offer recommendations for other therapists that you might consider.

  • The best way to contact me is to visit my contact page. While I do have therapy-related social media platforms available, I do not ask or request anyone to follow or participate on any of these platforms. Please consider that I cannot be sure of your privacy when you participate with social media. More information about my social media policy will become available in the intake paperwork.

  • It is my policy to avoid court involvement as it can have a negative impact on the therapeutic relationship. More information about my court policy will become available in the intake paperwork.

  • Telehealth sessions are held via video conferencing on zoom. Please try to find a quiet place where you can share openly without being disturbed during session. Please take some time before our session to make sure your internet and zoom application are working properly. Here is a tutorial for testing your zoom video and audio before a meeting that may be helpful to you.

  • I do not take insurance. I can provide super bills, but cannot garuantee acceptance by your insurance company. Each insurance company is different and you will want to check with them before having an expectation that they will provide financial support for therapy with me.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good FaithEstimate, you can dispute the bill.
